History of Church Childcare
Church Childcare began its journey of serving the children of the Piedmont more than 20 years ago. We started out small but mighty! We had a vision to be a safe haven for local children, a place they could go to receive a quality education, personal care, all while providing parents the comfort of knowing their little ones are in the hands of amazing and caring staff.
We first opened our doors in 1998. Located in the garage of our family home, we began our dream of providing high quality care. Our own three children served as charter students. As time progressed and our desire grew to care for more children, we expanded and were able to accept additional children and hire additional staff members.
Since opening our first stand-alone facility at 4440 Pointdexter Street, we have served more than 1,000 beautiful little children. Our facility, which much resembles that of a family home, serves infants to three year olds.
However, in 2018, we were blessed enough to expand our family even more. Located directly across the street from our center at 4440 Pointdexter, sits our newest center, Church Childcare Plus. This sprawling 40,000 facility houses 12 classrooms, awesome amenities including a spacious gymnasium perfect for afterschool programs, several playgrounds, and much more. Our Core Values
The name church is a reminder to us all that “UR” the church. So we hope to not only behave like it on Sunday mornings, but always being a reflection of the Church every day. Regardless of where we are or what we are doing, we hope to treat each other with love.
